This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on mitero.net. The controller is Commerto Limited, Dositheou 5, PARABUILDING, BLOCK A, 1st floor, Flat/Office 102A, 1071 Nicosia, Cyprus. For more information on the processing of your personal data, see the Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device (computer, phone or tablet). They make it possible to recognise your device on a later visit. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage, serve a comparable purpose. So-called session cookies are deleted when you close the browser window; others remain stored on your device until they expire or you delete them.
What we use cookies for
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- to provide the functions of the website and operate it securely, for example the shopping basket and the checkout,
- to process payments through the payment service providers you have chosen,
- where corresponding tags are integrated through Google Tag Manager: to understand how the website is used so that we can improve its structure and content,
- where corresponding tags are integrated through Google Tag Manager: to serve advertising content and measure its effectiveness.
Which cookies and technologies we use
Essential
These technologies are required for the website to operate and are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in a functioning and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Payment processing during checkout
When you choose a payment method during checkout, scripts or components of the respective payment service provider are loaded or you are redirected to its payment page. These providers may set their own cookies and similar technologies, among other things for fraud prevention and security. We have no influence over these; the privacy notices of the respective provider apply.
- PayPal — when paying with PayPal.
- Revolut — when paying by card via Revolut.
- Zen — when paying via Zen (including card, Pay by Bank, BLIK, Neosurf, Apple Pay, Google Pay); for this you are redirected to Zen’s payment page.
Statistics and marketing (Google Tag Manager)
On mitero.net we use Google Tag Manager from Google Ireland Limited (or Google LLC). Google Tag Manager is a management tool that allows us to deploy tags (small pieces of code) on the website; it does not itself set cookies for analytics or advertising purposes. Which cookies are set by the tags loaded through Google Tag Manager depends on the tags configured at the time. These tags are divided into the following categories:
- Essential — required for the operation and security of the website.
- Statistics — record how visitors use the website (for example pages visited) so that we can improve it.
- Marketing — used to serve advertising and measure its effectiveness, possibly also on other websites.
Google Tag Manager is not loaded when you first visit mitero.net. It is loaded only after you have consented to Statistics or Marketing in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and it passes your choice on to the tags as Google Consent Mode signals. If you reject or do not decide, Google Tag Manager and the tags loaded through it are not used. Google Tag Manager is loaded only on the live version of the website.
Managing cookies and withdrawing consent
You can control the storage of and access to cookies at any time through your browser settings, delete cookies and website data, or block the setting of cookies. Please note that deleting website data also removes your saved shopping basket, and that disabling essential cookies may impair some functions of the website, in particular the checkout. When you first visit mitero.net, a cookie banner asks for your choice: accept all, reject all, or choose Statistics and Marketing individually. You can change your choice at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of the website or via this link. You can also withdraw any consent you have given by email to [email protected]. When you withdraw a consent, the page is reloaded and the cookies of the services concerned are deleted.
